Feeding the Content Beast

Getting a blog set up is relatively easy. The hard part is feeding that content beast on a consistent, ongoing basis. First, you need to find a topic/niche that engages you, first and foremost. Then, you need to follow the path of least resistance in filling it with fresh content. It’s important to understand the difference between “fresh” and “original” content; search engines can distinguish fresh content, but don’t know what is original, so don’t over-burden yourself with originality efforts. In social media, “R&D” stands for “Rip off & Duplicate.” Google Alerts is a great way to come up with (1) ideas for content and (2) content to curate. Will demonstrate how to use and manage Google Alerts. Will also cover other professional blogger tips for coming up with content.
